Talk by Shahram Khosravi at Kunsthuset Kabuso
Thursday, 25.09
12:00-13:00
Join us for a conversation with the Iranian-Swedish social anthropologist and writer, Shahram Khosravi.
The Literature Boat Epos is on tour. Each week a new writer will join. This week (23.-30.09), Khosravi is on board.
While Epos is on tour in Øystese, visitors are invited for a conversation with Khosravi at Kunsthuset Kabuso.
Khosravi is interested in how we share and develop knowledge outside of institutions.
He is interested in how we benefit from the knowledge that is shared across generations, between established and new inhabitants, and how we can develop these forms of mediation that take place outside of formal arenas of education.
Khosravi also focuses this week on how the water, the fjords and the ocean all bind together people and places — not just as a hindrance where time is lost at the quarry inside our cars, waiting for the ferry.
Khosravi will begin the talk, but is first and foremost interested in establishing a conversation where interested visitors —old, new, young and in-between — are invited into this exchange.
The conversation will be in Swedish/"Svorsk".
