Drop-in workshop for kids: Let’s build a city!

Saturday, 12.October,
12:00-14:00
Hallen, USF Verftet

Join us for a drop-in workshop during the autumn holiday in one of Bergen’s largest and most exciting buildings – Hallen, USF! For this occasion, Hallen at USF Verftet will be completely empty, and throughout October we will fill it with a big cardboard city that we build together. What does a city need to be a good place to live? And who lives in this city?

In this workshop, children get the chance to build small and large structures and inhabitants, and to explore and create their own stories and ideas about the city. During the weekdays, schools will visit, adding to and developing our city further. Each Sunday will therefore bring new challenges and projects, and the city will grow day by day. October 12 marks the first workshop, and we hope you’ll join us in laying the foundations for the city on this day.

At 12:00 and 13:00 we invite you to storytelling sessions with our mediators, who will provide imaginative and exciting context for the workshop.

We encourage you to take part in the storytelling if it fits your schedule.

Please note: Hallen is cold, so remember to dress warmly. We’ll serve hot drinks and something sweet to eat.

Recommended for children aged 5–10, but everyone is welcome!
