(Norsk oversettelse kommer)

Bringing together two collectives, both contributing significantly to the nightlife of Bergen through their various events. The course will be exploring the questions about what kind of knowledges a party can give space to?
What forms of coming together can happen in and around a party?

Klubb Diaspora consists of DJs MultiTati & Love Pump who are sisters living in Bergen and have been running a very important club night Klubb Diaspora for the last five years. The evenings showcase music from Africa and the diaspora with a focus on afro-house, kuduro, baile funk, afrobeats and amapiano. The two sisters regularly appear at festivals and venues such as Hot Hot Hot, Borealis, Jungelfest, Landmark, Tyven and Jæger.

Fergus Tibbs and Freya Coursey run the regular club night “Keep it dark” together at the Bergen club Østre. A club night which is focusing on bass heavy, dub-influenced electro, techno and breakbeat. It also functions as a platform for emerging artists.

Fergus, originally from Glasgow, Scotland, aka. Reckless Kettle is an artist, DJ, and organiser. Throughout the last ten years he has been DJ-ing at weird club nights / parties as well as organising gigs, exhibitions and events.

Freya aka. Hildisvini is a Scottish DJ and ecologist. Whilst her roots are in the natural world, she has built a strong love of artistic and music culture, and enjoys combining art and science to encourage new connections.
