This course aims to investigate the body in relation to space. Through different specific tasks we will try to understand space with our body as the main tool. We will be located in different situations, implying the movement tasks, in order to develop a language in relation to movement. We are creating a dialogue between our body and a given space. Listening in order to respond.
Maria Wenyue has a background as a dancer and choreographer and has danced different genres which have led to a particular interest in our relation to space through movement. She is currently an MA student at Bergen School of Architecture.
